Wreath workshop offered: Ramsey House

KNOXVILLE – Ramsey House Plantation will be offering its annual holiday wreath-making workshop on Saturday, December 5th, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Ramsey House Visitors’ Center.  Participants will design and create a holiday wreath from natural materials such as Magnolia leaves, pine cones, boxwood, and berries.  All materials will be provided.  Please call 865-546-0745 for reservations.  Cost is $25.00 per person for non-members, and $20.00 for members of Ramsey House.

The historic home will be decorated for the holidays and open for Christmas tours through December 18th.  Group rates are available.  

Ramsey House Plantation, located ten minutes east of downtown Knoxville, features the 1797 home of Col. Francis A. Ramsey, an important figure in the early settlement of Tennessee, and a founding father of Knoxville.  The site includes the historic home, its decorative arts collection, and over 100 acres of the original farm.  Ramsey House is open daily except Monday.
